Virtual Valentine’s Day Cooking Class

Enjoy a romantic Valentine’s dinner at home with Rocky Top Catering’s virtual couple’s cooking classes. These unique and fun cooking experiences on February 13 and 14 from 6-7:30pm will be led by Owner and Chef Dean Ogan and will feature live step-by-step instruction on preparing a delicious meal and cocktails. We’ll guide you through the entire cooking process while sharing helpful cooking tips along the way! A portion of the sales benefits Lucy Daniels Center, a local provider of social, emotional, behavioral and mental health services for children.

Virtual Packages 2 & 3

If you prefer to shop for and prep your own main course ingredients, no problem. Or perhaps you live out of town and want to try your hand at the main course. Choose from one of these virtual packages:

• Virtual Package #2: Includes NC Cheese & Charcuterie Box, Cocktail Kit, Dessert Box, and shopping list and prep instructions for the main course, along with live Zoom access.

• Virtual Package #3: Includes shopping list and prep instructions for the main course, along with live Zoom access.

Note: to fully enjoy these packages, please set aside a couple of hours to full prep ingredients before the live Zoom.



In addition to helping you prepare a romantic Valentine’s dinner, Chef Dean will share cooking tips and methods throughout the experience, including:

• Learning about the sous vide cooking process

• Making gnocchi from scratch

• Making a traditional French butter sauce (beurre blanc)

• Learning about several North Carolina ingredients


How It Works

• Choose from our three virtual cooking experiences.

• Select February 13 or 14 for your cooking class.

• Check your email on Wednesday, February 10 for detailed instructions and information you need to join the class.

• Pick up your fully prepped ingredients at one of three locations prior to your cooking day (no pickup needed for Virtual Package #3).

• Join Chef Dean from 6-7:30pm for your live Zoom cooking demonstration and class.
